This intensive 3 day experience is designed to help you overcome creative blocks, develop your songwriting skills, and produce your own original music in a supportive and collaborative environment.

It will be like stepping into an alternate reality where your thoughts and emotions are permitted to take the spotlight. Using our unique methods of Heart Coherence and Be Experimental, you will learn to let go of critical thinking and connect with your intuition so you can freely express yourself through your songwriting with spontaneity and creativity, without any trace of judgement.

What you will get?

Programme

Day 1: Writing Day (Thursday, 7th Nov, 6:00pm - 9:00pm)

Learn songwriting basics, align your creativity, and start your first draft with inspiring object writing exercises, aiming to develop a strong chorus.

Day 2: Verse Development and Experimentation (Friday, 8th Nov, 6:00pm - 9:00pm)

Refine your verses and explore themes, then join a fun improvisation session to play with new ideas and spark creativity. Take part in an innovative “Be Experimental” session, where you’ll have the freedom to improvise and play with different ideas, fostering a dynamic and creative atmosphere.

Day 3: Song Completion and Performance (Saturday, 9th Nov, 2:00pm - 9:00pm)

Finalise your song, develop melodies and phrasing, rehearse, and perform your work in front of an audience in a final concert.

Did you know? The Heart Has Brain Cells!

Recent scientific discovery shows that the heart has the same cells as in the brain.

It's a method which helps you to align your brain and heart together. Recent scientific discovery has proven that in the heart we have 40k brain cells which are the same as the one in the brain. So we can say that the heart has its own little brain, feel and think independently of the cranial brain. If we create a disharmony in our heart by being in constant stress and anxiety we may block our creative side, ability to be open and intuitive. By using a method of Heart and Brain coherence you synchronise these two major organs together creating more harmony in your entire body system which opens the door to your creativity, higher thinking and intuition, making it easier for you to get into flow and come up with new creative ideas for your songwriting.

Be Experimental, created by Bristol-Based Experimental-Pop Artist, BexX, is a unique interactive-concert, where members become the performers and are invited to express themselves with freedom by journaling, speaking and singing on the mic, making everything up on the spot, to a live-produced, larger than life soundscape, so you can hear your initial song ideas as if they were on a finished record.

You will be able to sing to acoustic sounds, Electro-Pop, Trip-Hop beats and more, freely experimenting with your song ideas in different settings of genre, tempo, rhythm and style, resulting in an entirely unique original recording, like none other.

Be Experimental runs regularly in Bristol and has featured at WOMAD, Boomtown, and Glastonbury Festivals, and at Leeds Conservatoire for AOTOS.

Meet Kinga and BexX

Kinga Kreffta-Michalska

Hi, I’m Kinga, a passionate singer-songwriter and an authorized Complete Vocal Technique Singing teacher. I’m also a wellbeing practitioner, dedicated to helping others find their inner creativity. My musical journey began at a very young age, and over the years, I’ve released two EPs, one full-length album, and several singles as a pop artist under the name Kinga K. Recently, I’ve started creating music under my new stage name, Fiora.

With decades of experience, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching singers from all backgrounds, ranging from beginners to seasoned professionals. My teaching offerings include one-on-one lessons, 12-week singing courses, and immersive 5-day vocal retreats. My aim is to help singers achieve a unique, healthy sound and develop an authentic image that truly represents them.

In addition to my musical expertise, I focus on wellbeing practices. I believe that creativity comes from within, and I guide my students to access their creative potential through techniques such as heart coherence. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to enhance your skills, I’m here to support your musical journey and help you unlock your full potential.
